Steven John Erickson

   Steven John Erickson, 60, of Hope, ND, died Wednesday, March 17 2021 at his home in Hope, ND.

   Steven John Erickson was born in Valley City on August 9, 1960 to Wayne and Joanne Erickson. He attended Page Public School. After graduating in 1979, Steve was employed at the Galesburg Elevator.

   In 1981 Steve married Cindy Hiam, they had 2 children (Kyle and Cassandra). Later, Steve worked for Page Elevator and then Arthur Elevator in Ayr, ND. Steve started working with Hope Electric in 1994 and became a Journeyman Electrician. Steve was proud to work for Hope Electric, and enjoyed working with them until his retirement in 2017.

   In 1997 Steve married Angie Salander, they had 2 children (Macey and Will) and Steve gained a daughter (Hannah) from this marriage. Steve had 4 grandsons and 2 granddaughters, he loved being a Grandpa and treasured taking the grandkids for rides on his golf cart whenever he could. Anyone who knew Steve knew he had a heart of gold, he loved to make people laugh and was always ready with a joke. Steve enjoyed the many hours of playing cards with his family at the family farm. Steve made many memories with his family while hunting deer, riding snowmobile, camping, boating, and hanging out in his shop watching movies and eating pizza.

   Steve is survived by his children: Kyle (Hannah) Erickson of Hope, Cassandra (Tyler) O’Brien of Valley City, Hannah Ellegaard of Hope, Macey (Willie) Ard of Hope and Will Erickson of Hope; grandchildren Carter and Tristan O’Brien, Henry and Leonard Erickson, Harlee Ellegaard and Zion Ard; his mother: Joanne Erickson; his siblings and many nieces and nephews.

   Steve is proceeded in death by his father Wayne Erickson.

Masks are required.

Visitation:  Will be 6–7 PM on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Page, ND and will resume one hour prior to the service.

Funeral Service: Will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Page, ND.

Burial: Will be in the Page Cemetery in Page, ND.
