Monica C. Aamold

   Monica Catheryne Aamold, 67, of Mayville, ND, died Monday morning on February 17, 2020 at her home under the care of Hospice and her family.

   Born to Charles and Phyllis (Onstad) Clements on September 15, 1952. She attended school in West Fargo, ND, Bloomington, MN and graduated from Bismarck High School in 1970. Monica attended Mary College for 2 years before moving to Mayville.

   She married Marvin Aamold on December 23, 1972 at Mayville Lutheran Church. They lived in Mayville all their married life. When the kids were young, Monica worked at Union Hospital and also for Cal and Mona Chamberlain and Andy and Vicki Schreiner at Cal’s Ice for many years.

   Monica enjoyed bowling in her younger years. She was an avid gardener and took great pride in her flowers and tomato plants. She also enjoyed embroidery and baking. Her talents were shared by many. She was a life member of the Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America.

   She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Marvin; children: Michael of Bismarck and Marcy of Mayville; grandchildren: Damien and Patty of Ashley, ND and Rylee on Minot, ND; sister: Judy (Terry) Baltzer and a brother: Kevin Clements all of Bismarck; and 10 nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Will be one hour prior to the service.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM Friday, February 21, 2020 at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel in Mayville, ND.

Burial: Will be in the Mayville Cemetery in Mayville, ND.
