Laurel Ann Alm

   Laurel Alm, 62, of Grand Forks, ND, died on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at Altru Hospital in Gran Forks.

   Laurel Ann Alm was born to Lois (Peterson) and Walter Alm and grew up on the farm near Page, ND. For the last 27 years, she lived at group homes in Grand Forks, ND where she attended the day program at Grand Forks Growth and Support Center.

   Laurel loved her friends and family, cooking magazines, and singing. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor and fun attitude.

   She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, David, Richard, and Christopher, and one sister-in-law, Carol Alm.

   She is survived by her sister: Janet (Earl) of Crawford, CO; sisters-in-law: Karen Alm  of Fargo, ND and Wendy Alm of Evergreen, CO and many nieces and nephews.

   A Celebration of Life will be held in the Connection Center of Hope Church, 1601 17th Avenue South, Grand Forks, ND.  Visitation will begin on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 2:00 pm, with a sharing service at 3:00 pm. Burial will take place at the Page Cemetery in Page, ND. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Development Homes, 3880 South Columbia Road, Grand Forks, ND or online at developmenthomes.org in memory of Laurel Alm.
