 Kirk Joseph Wilkie, 54, of Mayville, ND died Thursday, November 15, 2024 at his residence in Mayville, ND.

 Kirk was born June 2, 1970 in Belcourt, ND to Harold B. Wilkie and Stella R. Wilkie (Belgarde). He grew up in Underwood ND, and moved to the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation when he turned 18. Kirk completed his GED. 

 He met his wife Pauline Rodriguez in Fargo, ND and they wed in Bottineau, ND on May 15, 1998. Kirk and Pauline lived in Bottineau, ND for 4 years from 1998 to 2002 and moved to Rugby, ND from 2002 to 2024 and moved to Mayville, ND on October 5, 2024 until his time of death.

 He worked at a packing place in 1994. He was staying there with his brother and his wife. Kirk loved to play guitar and sing. He played his Xbox with his kids. He loved his grandchildren dearly.

 Together they had a big family with lots of love. They raised their kids and nephews along the way. Kirk is survived by his wife of 26 yrs: Pauline of Mayville; his kids: Daniel (Harmony) Wilkie of Minot, Randy Rhoads Wilkie of Grand Forks, Kirk Monte Wilkie of Bismarck LarriAnn Vivier, Cole Vivier, Loretta Vivier; he was “proud papa Kirk” to his grandkids: Blake, Brayton, Myles, Haddie, Maleighia and baby Kirk Monte Jr. ; sister: Valarie Wilkie of Bismarck; brothers: Harold Wilkie Jr. and Dennis Belgarde of Fargo and Curtis (Carol) Belgarde of Dunseith; nieces and nephews Kelly Belgarde, Ozzy Belgarde and Anthony Rodrigues, Cory Belgarde, Carrie Belgarde, Cindy Belgarde, Shalee Belcourt, Kaleb Belgarde.

 He was preceded in death by his parents and his uncle: Clarence Wilkie.
