Jarid John Rygg

   Jarid John Rygg, age 43, of Fargo, ND passed away on August 12, 2022 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, after a brief illness.

   Jarid was born at Union Hospital in Mayville, North Dakota on July 17, 1979 to John Rygg and Karen (Harstad) Rygg. He was baptized at Mayville Lutheran Church.

   As a child he loved all sports, participating in soccer, baseball, basketball, skateboarding, golf and snowboarding. He especially liked living in Missoula, Montana where he could at times golf and snowboard in the same day. Most of his summer days were spent on the golf course where he excelled. Jarid always looked forward to going back to North Dakota to spend time with his grandparents and cousins.

   Jarid is survived by his parents: John Rygg of West Fargo, North Dakota and Karen and Tim Pratt of Orono, Minnesota; his sister: Jodie (Phil) Richards and their children: Kayden and Kira of Missoula, Montana; his brother: Andrew (Jamie) Pratt of Orono, Minnesota; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

   Jarid was preceded in death by his grandparents: Donald and Elaine Rygg, Rudy and Ivy Harstad and his uncle: Mark Harstad.

In lieu of Memorials, donations can be made to the charity  of donors choice.

Visitation:  Will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Memorial Service: Will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, August 22, 2022 at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel in Mayville, ND.

Burial: Will be in the Mayville Cemetery in Mayville, ND.
