Gudrun Pladson

   Gudrun Pladson, 93, of Hatton, ND, died Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the Hatton Prairie Village in Hatton, ND.

   Gudrun was born on July 6, 1926 on the family farm near Finley, ND to Peder and Haldri (Saterbo) Ronholm. She grew up and attended country school not far from the family farm.

   On July 25, 1943 Gudrun married Joel Pladson, son of Benjamin and Inga Pladson of Hatton. The couple farmed their entire life. Gudrun lived on the farm until 2006, when she moved to Hatton.

   She is survived by two daughters: Janice (Dennis) Finell of Green Bay, WI and Carol Lande of Mayville, ND; three grandsons: Brian (Kris) Finell, Blane Finell and Boyd (Candice) Finell; two granddaughters: Christina (Mike) Willison and Jennifer (Cole) Neset; nine great grandchildren: Lily, Megan, Byron, Cora and Wesley Finell, Barrett and Evelyn Willison, Halle and Reed Neset; also numerous nieces and nephews.

   Gudrun was preceded in death by her husband: Joel on January 17, 1983; parents; three brothers, two sisters; two granddaughters: Nancy Jo Finell and Jolene Lande; and a son-in-law: Richard Lande. 

Visitation:  Will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM day, January 13, 2020 at St. John Lutheran Church in Hatton, ND.

Burial: Will be in the St. John Cemetery in Hatton, ND.
