Delores Holden

   Delores Holden, 89, formerly of Page, ND, went to her heavenly home Friday, October 16, 2020.

   Delores was born in Traverse County, MN on February 24, 1931 to Max and Irene Walz. She was a graduate of Page High School.

   Delores was married to Miles Holden on August 14, 1952; they were married for 59 wonderful years. Delores was a devoted wife and mother who went where her husband worked. They moved many times before ultimately settling down back in Page, ND.

   Delores worked many different jobs and had many interests. She worked at Silver Line Boats where she reupholstered boat seats. She worked with her husband as a janitor at the Page High School and also helped the cooks. Delores was always willing to lend a hand wherever necessary. She also enjoyed refinishing wood projects and spending time with her many grandchildren. She was also a devoted member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Page.

   Delores is survived by 3 children: Miles Jr. (Marsha) Holden of Page, ND, Melody (Randy) Johnson of Galesburg, ND and Daniel (Amy) Holden of Chatham, IL; a sister: Betty Jacobs of Wheaton, MN; 11 grandchildren: Dani, Carly, Austin, Seth, Jessica, Rachel, Caleb, Ethan, Hannah, Abby and Noah; and 10 great-grandchildren.

   Delores is preceded in death by her husband: Miles Sr.; sister: Marge Stromberg; brothers: Leonard, Bill and Harold Walz; her children: Mark, Michael and Deidra; a daughter-in-law: Jeanne and a grandson: Nathan.   

Masks are required. Due to COVID-19, if you are not comfortable to attend, thoughts and prayers are welcome.

Memorial Service: Will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the Our Savior Lutheran Church in Page, ND.

Burial: Will be in the Page Cemetery in Page, ND.
