Beatrice A Neset

Beatrice A. Neset, 87, of Mayville ND passed away on Monday March 10, 2025 at Luther Memorial Home.

Beatrice was born October 12, 1937 in Mayville, ND to Albert and Bertha (Gidskemo) Newman. She attended school in Mayville through the tenth grade and then went to Hillcrest Lutheran Academy for two years and graduated in 1955. Beatrice worked as a nurse’s aide at the hospital. She also worked as a saleslady for Newman Signs for 17 years. Beatrice then become a local giftshop owner.

In 1964 Beatrice married Stuart Neset on December 26, 1964 at Ebenezer Church in Mayville, ND. Beatrice was a good Christian mother who enjoyed being a homemaker. Beatrice always had a good attitude and had a lot of fun spending time with friends and listening to the radio. Her favorite memories were getting married and having her children.

Beatrice is survived by her husband: Stuart Neset of Mayville, ND; son: Karl (Catherine) Neset of Plymouth, MN; grandchildren: Derek, Mandi, Samantha, Belinda and Roxy; a great-granddaughter: Aspen.

Beatrice is preceded by her son: Steven Neset of Mayville, ND. Siblings: Harold Newman, Jim Newman, Donny Newman and Mae Howe.

Visitation: Will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Memorial Service: Will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, March 14, 2025 at the Luther Memorial Home Chapel in Mayville, ND.
