Paula M. Tunseth, 83, Bemidji, MN and formerly of Mayville, ND died September 11, 2010 at Sanford Medical Center in Mayville. Paula was born February 16, 1927 to Paul and Mary (McCabe) Schable. She married Earl Lipsiea in 1947. Paula and Earl had seven children. She married Orville (Stub) Tunseth in 1971. She worked endless hours as owner of Paula's restaurant in Mayville, where she taught her children the value of community, kindness, hard work and the importance of a great piece of pie. Paula retired at her lake home in Minnesota, a place she dearly loved. She is survived by her children, Sheila Tunseth of Pittsburgh PA, Mark (Jan) Lipsiea, Kelly (Julie) Lipsiea and David (Sara) Lipsiea all of Mayville, Jim Lipsiea of Annandale MN, and Beth (Frank) Zander of Bismarck ND, 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, and siblings Monica Larivee of Grand Forks ND, Patrick (Ilse) Schable of Sierra Vista AZ, PattyAnn Cariveau of Black Hawk SD, and Ted (Dot) Schable of Venice FL. Her family, friends and all whose lives she touched carry warm memories of her faith, charity, laughter and love of a good game of Scrabble. Paula was preceded in death by her parents, husband Orville, son Peter Lipsiea, grandson Kegan Lipsiea, stepson Ron Tunseth and brother James Schable. Visitation: Will be on Wednesday from 5-8 PM with a 7:15 PM Public Prayer Service at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel, and will resume one hour prior to the service at the church. Funeral: 10 AM on Thursday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Mayville. Burial: Private Family internment at Mayville Cemetery, Mayville.
