Gladys Marion Schultz

Gladys Marion Schultz, 92, Mayville, ND, died Tuesday, October 10, 2006, at Union Hospital, Mayville, ND. Gladys was born July 23, 1914 in Leeds, ND, the daughter of Knute I. and Mary (Hefta) Knudson. She was confirmed June 23, 1929 and graduated high school June 23, 1933. She married Theodore Schultz at Mayville Lutheran Church, Mayville, ND, on August 20, 1939. She graduated from N.Y. Hairdressing Academy, Fargo, ND in 1937. Gladys worked as a beautician at Mildred’s Beauty Shop, Park River, ND. Gladys was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a lifetime member of Mayville Lutheran Church, Pioneer Daughters, and the Son’s of Norway. She is survived by her son, Dennis (Shari) Portland, ND; daughter, Connie (Paul) Bredberg, Sadieville, KY; seven grandchildren, Jason Schultz, Elsa (Kevin) Kettinger, Jessica Bredberg, Sara Schultz, Jeremiah (Sarah) Bredberg, April Schultz, and Isaac Bredberg; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Myrtle Solberg, Mayville, ND; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Clarence and Kenneth. FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, October 13, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Mayville Lutheran Church, Mayville, ND. VISITATION: Thursday, October 12, 2006 from 6-8PM at Baker Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7PM, and one hour prior to the funeral service, at the church. BURIAL: Mayville Cemetery, Mayville, ND.
