Allen Albert Langdahl

Allen Langdahl, of Page, ND died at the age of 80. Jesus carried him over the finish line to heaven February 21, 2010 at Hillsboro Medical Center, Hillsboro, ND. Allen was born to Sigurd and Elene (Satrom) Langdahl at Page on June 26, 1929. Allen grew up in the Page area. He married Janice Thielman at Page on January 24, 1951. They both lived at Page all their lives. Allen served the Lord by taking good care of his family. He was a John Deere mechanic for 13 years and then he and Janice were blessed to have the opportunity to farm, which he did until he retired. He loved sports and he and his brothers played baseball on a local team. Allen is survived by his wife, Janice of Page; children, Robert of Moorhead, MN, Ronald, Julie (Kim) Long, Diane (Lee) Wade, Terry, all of Page, Jeanne (Gayle) Bergeron of Thompson, ND, Deb (Jim) Himmelspach of Fargo, and Cindy (Dirk) Pilgrim of Klamath Falls, OR; grandchildren, Ryan (Lori) Pilgrim of Klamath Falls, OR, Alicia (Jeremy) Overbeck of Bismarck, ND, Justin Wade of Fargo, John Langdahl and Nikki Langdahl of Moorhead, MN; 5 great grandchildren; and other grandchildren and great grandchildren equally special to him; 4 brothers, Elmer (Gwen) of Lebanon, OR, Sig (June) of Mesa, AZ, Orville (Marcy) of Meza, AZ, and Larry of Page; 1 sister, Irene (Clayton) Visby of Hope, ND; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Michael Long; and grandson, baby Jayme Michael who we did not get to meet on this earth. Family will be receiving visitors at the home of Lee and Diane Wade, Page, ND. Funeral Service: 2:00 PM Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Our Savior Lutheran Church of Page, ND. Visitation: 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM Friday, February 26, 2010, and one hour prior to the funeral service, all at the church. Interment: Page City Cemetery, in the spring.
