B Maxine Hudson

B. Maxine Hudson, 85, of Hunter, ND died July 14, 2006 at Arthur Good Samaritan, Arthur, ND. Maxine was born September 10, 1920 in O’Kean, AK. She moved to Chicago and lived with family members and attended nursing school. During this time she was introduced to Stuart Hudson and married on November 25, 1944. She left nursing school and moved to the Hunter area. Maxine was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was also an EMT for the Hunter Ambulance Service. She was also a home health aide for the Cass County Social Services for many years. Maxine is survived by two daughters, Pamela Hudson, Hunter, ND, and Susan Hudson, Overland Park, KS; two half-sisters, Dudie (Harkrader) Carpenter, Woodland, MI, Alice (Harkrader) DeVries Mosley, Crystal River, FL; and half-brother, Ray Harkrader, Belding, MI. She is preceded in death by her husband Stuart Hudson; daughter, Rebecca Arlene; her parents; three brothers, Ernest, Leonard, and Henry “Bud” Harkrader; sister, Betty (Harkrader) Nettleton, step-sister, Betty Jo Simmons; and step-brother Don Beutler. In Lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Good Samaritan Center, Arthur, ND. FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Hunter Presbyterian Church, Hunter, ND. VISITATION: one hour before the funeral at the church. BURIAL: Hunter Cemetery, Hunter, ND.
