June L. Lillemoen

June Lillemoen, 100, of Fargo, ND died Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Elim Care Center in Fargo, ND. June was born on March 17, 1917 in Portland, ND to John and Lillian Nelson. She attended school in rural Portland. On November 2, 1936 she married Palmer Lillemoen in Hatton, ND. After their marriage the couple lived and farmed near Hatton, ND. June resided on the farm until moving to Mayville, ND and later to Fargo, where she has resided since. June was a faithful member of Bethany Lutheran Church and was active in the Ladies Aide. Over the years, June was known for making numerous quits, that she gave to many family members over the years. She is survived by her two daughters: Mary Jean (Gary) Kvidera of Fargo and Karen Hovland of Moorhead, MN; three granddaughters: Andrea (Bruce) Manston, Michell (Travis) Johnson and Jennifer (Randy) Larson; two grandsons: Loren Lillemoen and Jason Kvidera; and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. June is preceded in death by her husband: Palmer; sons: Gerald and Dennis Lillemoen; a son-in-law: John Hovland; a sister: Doris Severson and a brother: Palmer Nelson. Visitation: Will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Funeral Service: 10:30 AM Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Hatton, ND. Burial: Will be at the Bethany Cemetery in Hatton, ND.
