Laminda Ann Murach, 77, of Buxton, ND passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017 surrounded by her family at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND. Laminda was born June 10, 1940 to Floyd and Gertrude Austin in Grand Forks. She was the youngest and only daughter with four brothers. She graduated from Gilby High School in 1959. She met and married Conrad Murach, the love of her life and best friend, on June 18th, 1959 and they celebrated 58 years of a loving marriage in June. Laminda is survived by her husband: Conrad of Buxton; son: Eugene (Wendy) Murach of Argusville, ND; daughters: Darcy (Les) Thompson of Cummings, ND, Lyrae (Utilis) Vinson of Stockton, CA and Dawn (Ivan) Grant of Houston, TX. She adored her 10 grandchildren: Aaron, Jarod, Amanda, Joshua, Ashley, Brandyn, Madison, Sierra, Hunter and Savanah; 3 great grandchildren: Ella, Aric and Jackson. She is also survived by a brother: Eugene Austin and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents: Floyd Sr. and Gertrude Austin; brothers: Forrest, Floyd Jr. and Leroy Austin; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Bernice and Julian Murach and a sister-in-law: Darla (Murach) Chandler. Visitation: Will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Memorial Service: 2:00 PM Monday, September 4, 2017 at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel in Mayville, ND. Burial: Will be at the St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Hillsboro, ND.
