James Arthur Steinke

James A. Steinke, 56, Mayville, ND, formerly of Grand Forks, ND died Monday, May 15, 2006 at his residence after several illnesses, Mayville, ND. James Arthur Steinke was born January 31, 1950 at Grand Forks, ND, the son of Arthur and Shirley (Ion) Steinke. He graduated from Red River High School in Grand Forks and Attended U.N.D., Grand Forks for a period of time. Jim worked a several occupations in the Grand Forks area. In 1976 he started Heritage Corvette in Grand Forks, a corvette restoration and sales business. He moved the business to Mayville, ND in 1986 and he moved to Mayville in 1998. He is survived by 2 aunts, Norma Haggerty, Grand Forks, ND and Mae Ion, Grand Forks, ND, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Julie and brother, Robert.
