Larry Lee Heskin

Larry Lee Heskin, 60, of Fargo, died Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at his residence. Larry was born on August 23, 1949 at Mayville, ND to Margaret (Lee) and Orlo Heskin of Portland, ND. He graduated from Portland High School in 1967 and from Mayville State College in 1971. That same year, he was commissioned as a Lt. in the United States Marine Corp. and served in Okinawa. After his commission was over, he worked as a pharmaceutical rep. for many years. In 1976 he was married to Deana Ore and resided in Minneapolis, MN. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, his nieces and nephews, and antiques. Larry is survived by his mother, Margaret Lande of Portland, ND; brother Robert (Nancy) Heskin of Coon Rapids, MN; sister, Gail (Neil) Halvorson of Portland; triplet sisters, Lois Hofstrand and Linda Ingebretson, both of Mayville; special friend, Donna Danielson of Fargo; 10 nieces and nephews; and 13 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Orlo, and his step-father, Palmer Lande. Funeral Service: 1:00 PM Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Bruflat Lutheran Church in Portland, ND. Visitation: one hour prior to the funeral service, at the church. Interment: Bruflat Cemetery, Portland, ND
