Clara Olivia Huus

Clara Olivia Huus, 94, of Hatton died peacefully Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Luther Memorial Home in Mayville, ND. Clara married Elvin Huus on November 23, 1940 in Beltrami County, MN. They made their home in Hatton where they raised their 5 children. Clara is survived by sister Trina Huus of Hatton, ND; daughter Carol Groven, Hatton, ND; sons Gerald (Mary) Huus of West Fargo, ND and Rodney Huus of Grand Forks, ND; 9 grandchildren Tammy (Steve) Volla, Ken Groven, Melinda (Todd) Bergeron, Kevin Huus, Tanya Huus, Melissa Heath, Kayla (Brian) Heise, Dave (Heidi) Huus, and Rod (Tia) Huus, and 21 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother, husband Elvin Huus, son Lyle Huus, daughter Joann Flaten, sister Francis Pladson, son-in-law Elroy Groven and daughter-in-law Rosella Huus. Visitation: Will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Funeral Service: 10:00 AM Monday, February 6, 2017 at Luther Memorial Home Chapel in Mayville, ND. Burial: Will be in the St. John Cemetery, Hatton, ND.
