Barbara Fugleberg

Barbara Fugleberg, 86, of Mayville, ND died April 26, 2016 at Luther Memorial Home. Barbara was born October 1, 1929 to Adelaide (Rockne) and Rueben Langager in Mayville, ND. She graduated from Mayville High School and Mayville State College where she obtained a degree in education and was an elementary school teacher. She married her high school sweetheart, Marlan Fugleberg, on August 5, 1951. They had four children. Barb enjoyed the children’s sporting events, gardening and camping. She and Marlan owned Rexall Pharmacy for 32 years where Barb worked as a pharmacy tech and managing buyer for the store. She had a knack for stocking the store with unique gifts and jewelry and enjoyed taking buying trips to Minneapolis and Chicago for the store with her daughters. Barb was active at Mayville Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. Barbara loved spending time with her family, her children, grandchildren and great grand children. She is survived by her husband: Marlan; her children: Carol (Keith Wayne), Mary Beth (Ron), John (Shawn) and Jeff (Ryan). She was blessed with 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Rueben and Adelaide, and her brother Ronnie. Visitation: Will be from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Mayville Lutheran Church. Funeral Service: 10:30 AM Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Mayville Lutheran Church in Mayville, ND. Burial: Will be at the Mayville Cemetery in Mayville, ND.
