Lyle Rempher

Lyle Rempher, 74, Mayville, ND, died Sunday, January 17, 2016, at the Luther Memorial Home in Mayville. Lyle Rempher was born May 30, 1941, on the family farm in LaMoure County near Jud, ND, the son of Leonard and Mildred (Rempher) Rempford. He attended country school and moved with his parents to Edgeley, ND. In 1950, after the death of his father, he moved to Jamestown, ND, with his mother and siblings. Lyle lived in Jamestown until this past November when he moved to Luther Memorial Home, Mayville. Lyle was an avid fisherman and lover of rummage sales. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Mildred, his siblings Marjorie, Roland, and Viola, brother in law Francis, nephews Ken and Don, niece Susan, and great nephew Jared. He is survived by great niece Michelle (Wayne) LeMier, Fargo, nephew Michael (Ashley) Bradley, Mayville, niece Jennifer Elhard, Fargo, and many great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that you make a donation to your favorite charity in Lyle’s memory. A private service will be held at a later date.
