Myron Gerald Larsen, 78, died peacefully at Sanford Hospital on April 13th. He was one of two children born to Edward and Agnes (Thompson) Larsen in Hunter, ND on March 23, 1937. He was baptized and confirmed in First Lutheran Church of Hunter and remained an active member until his death. Myron attended Hunter Public Schools, graduating from high school in 1955. After graduation he was employed at Hunter Grain Company. In December, 1961, he entered the United States Army and was stationed at Ft. Riley, Kansas, and Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, before deployment to Germany. Upon returning home from the military he was employed at State Oil and Auto Company until his retirement. He was also a member of the Albert W. Wallner Post #44 American Legion of Hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by a sister: Jane Zelinski of Wenatchee, WA; niece: Liz Zelinski of Woodinville, WA; nephew: Joe Zelinski (Jen) of Wenatchee, WA; and 3 great-nephews: Peyton, Austin and Stuart.
