Juliane "Julie" Cigelske

Juliane “Julie” Cigelske, 58, of Fargo, ND died on Friday, October 24, 2014 at Sanford Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Julie was born in Fargo, ND on September 15, 1956 to Chester and Betty Jane Anderson. She grew up on the family farm in rural Cummings and attended school in Mayville, ND. After graduating from Mayville High School in 1974, Julie moved to Fargo, ND where she attended school at Interstate Business College. Julie married Dirk Cigelske on July 1, 1988 in Bismarck, ND. In 1989 they moved back to Fargo where Julie accepted employment with Gateway Chevrolet. She remained with Gateway up to her death. Julie was a woman of many talents. She was an excellent seamstress and could sew anything from clothing to curtains and more. She was also involved in a variety of craft projects and created beautiful jewelry as well as practical key chains. Her latest project was making dog collars. Julie loved the outdoors and was especially fond of deer hunting and fishing with her family. She was more than handy with tools and tackled any household or farm project that came her way. Julie divided her busy life between work, her home in Fargo, and the Farm. Most weeks, as soon as it was Friday, she would jump in her vehicle and head to the farm to mow the yard, one of her favorite pastimes. She also enjoyed cruising around the farm on her ranger to visit with the neighbors. Julie is survived by her son, Brock (Nicole) Cigelske and her brother, Jeffery (Jane) Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband Dirk Cigelske (5/11/14); her son Zane Cigelske (6/20/2003), and both of her parents, Chester Anderson (1/27/07) and Betty Jane Anderson (2/9/10). Visitation: Will be 5 – 7 PM with a 7:00 PM Public Prayer Service on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel and will resume one hour prior to the service at the church. Funeral Service: 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1258 N. Broadway in Fargo, ND. Burial: Will be at 1:30 PM Wednesday at Carlson Cemetery, rural Cummings, ND.
