Raymond Louis Dauphanais

Raymond Louis Dauphanais, 41, of Mayville, ND, died Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at his home in Mayville. Raymond was born on June 17, 1967 to Odel and Lou Ann (Bartlette) Dauphanais in Cavalier, ND. He attended school in Hillsboro, ND. He worked construction as a roofer before moving to Nebraska where he worked in a manufacturing plant. In 1997 Ray returned to the Red River Valley and resided in Mayville. He loved fishing and more fishing. Mr. “Kitty” was a constant companion, along with Teka and Barkley. Raymond will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Raymond is survived by his mother, Lou Dauphanais of Mayville; two brothers, Anthony Dauphanais of Sioux Falls, SD and John Dauphanais of Morrow, OH; one sister, Barbara Dauphanais of Moorhead, MN; one grandmother, Mary Pearline Schroeder of Walhalla, ND; 5 nieces and nephews; and many great aunts, uncles, and cousins. His father, Odel Dauphanais died on August 28, 2008. Funeral Service: Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 1:00 pm at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel in Mayville. Visitation: Will be from 11–1 pm Tuesday at the Baker Funeral Home in Mayville. Burial: Mayville Cemetery, Mayville, ND.
