Kathleen "Mavis" Robberstad (Morgan) of Fargo passed away on Monday, July 7, 2014. She was born in rural Page, ND on April 27, 1927. She was married to Dale Robberstad on September 22, 1945. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Myrtle Morgan, her husband Dale in 1985, her sister Faye Quick and infant twin siblings. Mavis was a lifelong Minnesota Twins and Vikings fan. She knew the game of baseball and was not a happy camper when the Twins did not execute the fundamentals correctly. Mavis enjoyed fishing walleyes and spent many days on the water with her husband Dale in their boat. It was not uncommon to be on the Missouri system, local Minnesota lakes and hit The Lake of the Woods all in a short period of time. She could fillet a walleye better than Dale. Many friends and relatives were guests to pan fried walleye and fried potatoes compliments of Mavis. The Forum's crossword puzzle was a daily task that often only took her minutes to complete. Her legacy of love lives on in her family in the memory of her sharing her gifts of sticky buns, sewing, knitting, crocheting and embroidery. She is survived by her children Keith (Barb), Blaine, MN; Karen, Fargo ND; Carol Schmieg, Peru IN; Becky (Bill) Neeser, Peru IN; Dave (LuAnn) Mahomet IL. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her surviving brothers and sisters include Tess Heisler, Bob (Judy), Bernie (Mary), Pat Noonan, Don (Lavonne), Char (Mic) Plante and Geri (Tom) Eitter. Her sister-in-laws are Joan (Gerry) Fiechtner and Marla (Ron) Effertz. Memorials can be directed to charity of personal choice. Visitation and "Celebration of Mavis's Life" will be held at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo from 10:00AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 20th. Interment will be held at Page Cemetery following the Celebration of Life.
