Ethel Hannah Linea Rosenius

Ethel Hannah Linea Rosenius, 88, of Hope, ND, died Friday, December 28, 2007 at the Luther Memorial Home in Mayville, ND. Ethel Lundmark was born September 24, 1919, in Blabon, ND to Elmer and Anna (Nilson) Lundmark. She attended all 12 grades of school at the Colgate, ND public school. On January 1, 1940, Ethel married Art Rosenius, at Page, ND. Together they lived on a farm until retiring when they moved into Hope, ND. Art died in March of 1987. Ethel moved into the Luther Memorial Home in March of 1998. Ethel was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Colgate where she was the Sunday school superintendent and taught youth Sunday school. She volunteered her time with the American Cancer Society. She was a leader of the Dakota Roses 4H club from 1953 until retiring. She was also very active in the Hope Senior Citizens Club. She was a member of the ’61 Homemaker’s Club and also loved bowling. Ethel is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many other loving relatives and friends. FUNERAL SERVICE: Thursday, January 3, 2007 at 2:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church in Colgate, ND. VISITATION: Wednesday, January 2, 2007 from 5-7 PM at the Lindsey-Carlson Funeral Home in Page, ND, and one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. BURIAL: Hope Cemetery, in the spring.
