Eldice Edna Tysdal

Eldice Edna Tysdal, 81 of Page, ND, died Thursday, August 16, 2007, at the Good Samaritan Center in Arthur, ND. Eldie was born on March 22, 1926 near Colgate, ND the daughter of Olaf and Mina (Olstad) Satrom. She graduated from Colgate High School and attended Concordia College and Mayville College. Eldie taught school for 5 years in the Broadlawn Country School, Hill School and Kelly School. On February 20, 1959 she married Chester Tysdal. They farmed in Lake Township, near Page, ND until retiring in 1985. Chet and Eldie moved to the Veterans Home in Lisbon, ND in 2001. Chester died March 6, 2002 and in 2004, Eldie moved to the Good Samaritan Home in Arthur. She is survived by two sons, Byron (Margaret) Tysdal of Fargo and Bruce (Jamie) Tysdal of Page; five grandchildren, Brett, Brianna, Alyssa, McKenna and Taylor; three brothers, Hilbert Satrom of Galesburg, Gordon (Nola) Satrom of Page and Charles (Darlene) of Page. She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers, Marlin, Ole, Roy, Palmer, Harold, twin brother Edward and Lester; two sisters, Margaret Ruddy and Helen Sanders. FUNERAL SERVICE: Tuesday August 21, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Page, ND. VISITATION: Monday, August 20, 2007 from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00PM, and one hour prior to the funeral service, all at the church. BURIAL: Page Cemetery, Page, ND.
