Leota Ann Zuech

Leota Ann Zuech, 83, of Arthur, ND formerly of Page, ND died Sunday, November 20, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Center in Arthur, ND. She was born February 25, 1928 in Page, ND, the daughter of Adelbert and Frona (McClure) Barckley. Leota attended and later graduated from the Page High School. Leota was a lifelong member of the Page United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker all her life and was a member of Royal Neighbors. Music was very important to her. She was an avid musician and enjoyed playing the organ, piano and also the accordion. Though out her life, she accrued an extensive library of sheet music. Leota loved music and after she entered the Arthur Good Samaritan Center, she thoroughly enjoyed the “sing alongs”. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and residents at the Good Samaritan Center in Arthur. She is survived by one brother, Robert (Jo) Barckley of San Diego, CA; one niece and one nephew. Leota is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Paul Barclay. Funeral Service: 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Page United Methodist Church, Page, ND. Visitation: Will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial: Page Cemetery, Page, ND.
