Oarlie Niemeier passed away Saturday, February 24, 2007 at a nursing home in La Mesa, California at the age of 92. Oarlie was born June 12, 1914, in Portal, ND, the daughter of Henry and Anna (Seim) Kramer. She was a graduate of MSU and taught for many years in area schools, along with her husband, Henry C Niemeier, who was an administrator and coach. Henry passed away June 16, 1999. Together they were the parents of four sons who survive them; Kenneth (Donna), La Mesa, Calif; Donald (Yvonne), Mesa, Ariz; H. Allan (Nan), Rapid City S.D.; and Bruce, Fargo, ND. She is also survived by six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her siblings. Oarlie was a needlepoint artist and enjoyed bridge, golf and other activities with her friends. They were members of the Congregational United Church of Christ in Mayville. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Monday, July 9, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Mayville Congregational United Church of Christ, Mayville, ND. VISITATION: One hour before the memorial service at the church. BURIAL: Holmes United Methodist Church Cemetery, Reynolds, ND.
